2001年进入外交部。曾在外交部亚洲司、新闻司、中国驻日本使馆和中国驻泰国使馆工作，任中国驻越南使馆政务参赞。2018年起，任外交部亚洲司规划协调处处长。

Counselor Dong Shuhui is the Director for the Section of Policy Planning of the Department of Asian Affairs, MFA. She previously served in the Department of Asian Affairs, the Information Department, the Chinese Embassy in Japan and the Chinese Embassy in Thailand. She was most recently the political counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam.
